Stacey Segarra-Bohlinger was born in Ojai, California and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Growing up in a working-class family, Stacey learned the value of hard work when she got her first job as an assistant dance teacher at the age of thirteen. At age seventeen she left her home in Yakima, Washington to study acting at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle where she earned her BFA.
Watching her dad, Jeff Bohlinger, be an active member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and support workers on strike in all industries and sectors, Stacey has developed a passion for labor activism and workers’ rights. This, in part, has compelled her to devote as much of her time as possible to serving her community.
Since moving to Los Angeles in 2016, Stacey has put down strong roots in Sherman Oaks and considers it home.
Stacey is honored to serve on the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council as the Residential Representative for Area 5.
Stacey Segarra-Bohlinger assumed the Area 5 Residential seat effective July 1, 2021.
