Jeffrey M. Kalban founded Kalban Architects in 1982 after spending 12 years as a Designer/Senior Project Designer for firms such as I. M. Pei and Partners in New York City and Pereira Associates in Los Angeles. He has been responsible for the design of many notable office, institutional, commercial, and hotel projects here and abroad. In addition to leading the design efforts at his firm, Mr. Kalban has served on several local City architectural review and community planning committees for over 30 years.     
A graduate of Ohio State University, Mr. Kalban excels in providing innovative and distinguished solutions to interesting design problems associated with varied sizes of architectural commissions.  
Architecture and urban planning have always been lifelong passions. As an architect the care and concern for our city’s public spaces extends beyond the commissions of my architectural firm.  From my early days on the Westwood Village Design Review Board to my involvement several decades ago in Sherman Oaks, beginning with the Specific Plan, I have committed my profession expertise to protect and improve our community’s built environment. 
It has been an honor and a career long commitment, to serve, improve and protect our community and to pursue the ideals that first inspired me to be an architect.
